We're a child friendly church. We don't just watch children while their parents go to church or classes. Instead each time the children come, we help them learn to know God and we help them with their family relationships.
We offer classes for grades 1st-5th on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am - All children start in service with their family to worship together. Then at the Sermon time they will be dismissed to go to Sunday school class for a time of teaching.
Preschool in room 2, off the courtyard.
1st-6th grade in room 4, off the courtyard.
We are very careful to keep kids safe, by following a protection policy we have created for all of our teachers and children. This includes things like carefully background screening our teachers, always having a teacher and helper in a classroom, and teaching our children in classrooms that have private restrooms attached.
Every quarter our children are involved in a church outreach project where they get a chance to serve the community. Recent projects include: making Easter baskets for foster and homeless children, making up school backpacks for foster and refugee children.
